Hi, nHope the Ankercanis family is well and looking forward to Christmas.nAs you may well guess, I am enquiring about a Ankercanis puppy for the future (likely 2022/23) to do agility, canicross and general trick training, as well as being a much loved family member. For you to know a little more about me…nI currently have 2 dogs, a KC Border collie and an FCI Australian kelpie – in the past I have also had a farm-bred kelpie and currently do agility and canicross as my past times. I live in a country village in Wiltshire where we have a large garden and live next to the Marlborough Downs and the Ridgeway for plenty of long walks/runs. I work from home full time with the occasional meeting in the local area and live with my partner Adam who occasionally works from home as well. I have been around dogs all my life and got my first dog at 11 (the working kelpie – yes my parents were brave!), he was the most strong willed and stubborn stoic dog, who taught me everything about treating a dog like a dog and not a human! My dogs are everything to me (don’t tell my partner!) and I make sure that they get individual working time and attention, which could be agility, going for a run or just general game of tug, whilst the rest of the time they are together living in the home and part of my everyday life. My border collie, Falcon, is a bitch and is of a strong nature who likes manners in other dogs, or otherwise other dogs do not exist to her, she is a typical merle collie who is crazy, especially when it comes to agility. She is turning 7 next year. Aero, my Australian Kelpie is now 2 and came from France (as I wanted a full health tested kelpie and from well-bred lines, which at the time I couldn’t find in the UK). He is the most sweet natured and polite boy, who loves nothing better than to work at full throttle before snuggling under a blanket on the sofa – he is the perfect temperament, but still provides a high energy challenge which needs to be managed correctly. He has a very strong kelpie instinct of herd and nip, which I only see when he is working (i.e. he will nip a dog if he is running in a canicross harness and a loose dog tries to greet him). They are both great dogs and taught me a lot about high energy herding breeds. Although I do not have experience as a Malinois owner, I have spoken to Malinois (and Tervuren) owners in agility and have admired and studied the breed ever more recently. I am almost ‘the right breeder’ first before ‘the right breed’ sort of person, for example I wouldn’t get a Belgian Malinois if I couldn’t find a responsible well-established breeder who is breeding working-type Malinois’ and, personal preference this next bit…, who have bred them of a light working build with a great nature. I found your website and have read through your pages and your ethos on finding the right owners and believe we share similar values in that. It is a plus that your dogs and puppies you have bred so far look like fantastic dogs and I would love to come and meet you and your dogs in the near future. Please let me know if you have any questions and please there is no rush as I am planning for 2022/23 when Aero has matured a little more and is setting 100% good habits to a new puppy.nHope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!nKind regards,nNaominnAUTHOR: Naomi PincottnAUTHOR EMAIL: naomipincott@gmail.comnAUTHOR URL: nSUBJECT: [AnkerCanis UK] ContactnIP: 90.255.192.170nArrayn(n [1_Name] => Naomi Pincottn [2_Email] => naomipincott@gmail.comn [3_Comment] => Hi, nHope the Ankercanis family is well and looking forward to Christmas.nAs you may well guess, I am enquiring about a Ankercanis puppy for the future (likely 2022/23) to do agility, canicross and general trick training, as well as being a much loved family member.
